Skyscraper

For this action film starring The Rock, I was responsible for designing the internal garden and skybridge within The Pearl - Hong Kong’s tallest (fictional) skyscraper. From early concept through to detailed drawings, I create massing schemes for the terraced floors that curved organically around the exterior of the park before diving in to the elements making up central scenes in the film.

The skybridge saw one of the major action scenes take place, and was designed parametrically to suit the elegant, curvilinear language of the rest of the building. This set piece was built in full and shot in a green-screen studio to appear within the cavernous Pearl interior.
