Molar Stool

Molar Stool was fabricated using robotically 3D printed clay formwork to house cast glass-fibre-reinforced concrete.

The design toys with the idea of purposeful failing - through trial and error, a form was generated that allowed for the natural slump of the clay mould to create a detail that enhances both the visual and structural properties of the seat.
