Starburst Light

A 3D-printed lamp that builds upon the behaviour discovered in the Jelly Light. The shell is fabricated by 3D printing PLA filament on to a pre-tensed fabric. When released from its stretched position, the fabric bounces back into the shape defined by the printed formwork.

This piece was created as part of Programmed Deformation V2 - a Design Morphine workshop in Bucharest, Romania.
