Edge Terra Seedbank

As part of The Field - a Masters studio at the Melbourne School of Design - I developed a speculative design for a seedbank aimed at preserving and amplifying the biodiversity of the site. In groups, we devised a strategy for the nurturing of a site through a post-colonial lens, before developing specific areas individually. The Edge Terra Seedbank was developed to provide overlapping layers of space dedicated to various communal activities around seed collection and storage.

Once designed, this project was on display as part of Melbourne Design Week 2021: Politics and Utopia in Architecture - an AR exhibition with 3D models overlaid in virtual reality atop a real physical model.
