Cork Stool

The Cork Stool was designed in response to the MPavilion 10 Chair Commission competition with the intention to build upon the geometric restraint within Tadao Ando’s design. By proposing two materials with juxtaposing tactility but equal pragmatism, the stool aims to mirror the dual utility and playfulness of the concrete structure surrounding it.

The Cork Stool was selected by architect Tadao Ando as one of three shortlisted entries.
